My primary concern is the health and wellbeing of each and every guest at Applewood and the whole cattery has been designed and built with this in mind.
For the protection of all guests, no cat suffering or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted. I will examine all guests on arrival and reserve the right to refuse admission to any guest showing signs of ill health pending advice from a veterinary surgeon. I hope you will appreciate that this is essential to safeguard the health of all our guests.
All guests must be immunised against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Upper Respiratory Infections (cat flu). An up to date certificate of inoculation MUST be provided on arrival. I am unable to admit male guests over the age of 7 months if they have not been neutered because they present a higher risk of spreading infection.
Any medical treatment and prescriptions can be continued during the stay and we can undertake standard treatments such as tablets and injections.
Veterinary attendance is assured in the event of ill health of any guest. I have access to 24 hour veterinary care.
Whilst I have contingency insurance cover for veterinary fees, all costs relating to medical care and attention remain the owners responsibility at all times.
